About the role
Responsibilities
- Meet or exceed quarterly sales revenue and product goals
- Drive demand through organic pull-through and deploy reimbursement solutions
- Call on ophthalmic healthcare professionals in defined markets
- Develop critical physician and staff relationships within the assigned geography
- Record all sales activity in CRM in a timely manner
- Articulate clinical benefits of products and solutions in a compliant manner
- Manage expenses in a thoughtful, responsible, and ethical manner
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in a related field
- 1-4 years of pharmaceutical or medical device sales experience
- Ability to travel 70-80% within the assigned territory, including overnight stays
- Proficiency with MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
- Knowledge of payer landscape, Commercial, Medicare Part D, and dual eligibility
- Strong presentation and interpersonal skills
Preferred Qualifications
- Ophthalmic sales experience
- Clinical understanding in the specialty of ophthalmology
