About the role

Responsibilities

  • Meet or exceed quarterly sales revenue and product goals
  • Drive demand through organic pull-through and deploy reimbursement solutions
  • Call on ophthalmic healthcare professionals in defined markets
  • Develop critical physician and staff relationships within the assigned geography
  • Record all sales activity in CRM in a timely manner
  • Articulate clinical benefits of products and solutions in a compliant manner
  • Manage expenses in a thoughtful, responsible, and ethical manner

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in a related field
  • 1-4 years of pharmaceutical or medical device sales experience
  • Ability to travel 70-80% within the assigned territory, including overnight stays
  • Proficiency with MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
  • Knowledge of payer landscape, Commercial, Medicare Part D, and dual eligibility
  • Strong presentation and interpersonal skills

Preferred Qualifications

  • Ophthalmic sales experience
  • Clinical understanding in the specialty of ophthalmology
