About the role

Responsibilities

  • Achieve individual sales budgets, targets, and KPIs through new business development for mid-market customers.
  • Develop strategic relationships with customers and industry participants to source share of wallet opportunities.
  • Execute the 'Grow' and 'Retain' pillars of the sales strategy by maximizing contract terms and providing Total Waste Management solutions.
  • Maintain an up-to-date sales pipeline and competitor database within Salesforce.
  • Prepare and present high-quality tender responses and quotes.
  • Monitor competitor activity and provide market intelligence reporting.
  • Ensure all price increases and contract terms are applied as per agreed conditions.

Requirements

  • Proven experience in driving organic new business growth within a commercial or industrial B2B sales environment.
  • Strong negotiation, presentation, and influencing skills.
  • Demonstrated capability in stakeholder management within large and complex environments.
  • Sound commercial acumen with experience leveraging volume and pricing for profitable outcomes.
  • Highly organized with the ability to manage competing priorities and deadlines.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, specifically for tender preparation.
