Kennel Technician

Responsibilities

• Feed, water, and monitor boarding and hospitalized animals
• Clean and disinfect kennels, cages, exam rooms, and treatment areas
• Walk dogs and provide exercise and enrichment activities
• Observe animal behavior and report concerns to veterinary staff
• Restrain animals safely for examinations or treatments when needed
• Launder bedding, towels, and clinic linens
• Maintain inventory of cleaning and animal care supplies
• Assist with bathing and basic grooming tasks
• Follow sanitation, safety, and infection-control protocols

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred
• Experience working with animals is a plus
• Ability to handle dogs and cats of various sizes and temperaments
• Ability to stand, walk, bend, and lift up to 50 pounds
• Strong attention to detail and cleanliness
• Weekend and holiday availability may be required
