K-5 Math Education Specialist

Responsibilities

• Lead the development of the Tuva Jr. instructional program, including curating datasets and authoring lessons aligned to national and state mathematics standards
• Create resources such as example guides, video tutorials, and detailed walkthroughs for math educators
• Engage with a global community of math educators to incorporate Tuva into instructional practice
• Develop improvements for online and in-person professional development and train-the-trainer programs
• Foster partnerships with academic institutions, research organizations, and community groups

Requirements

• BS, MS, PhD, or Ed.M in Math Education, Curriculum Design, Instructional Design, or equivalent
• Strong understanding of foundational data analysis and statistics concepts
• 3-5 years of successful classroom experience teaching elementary math and science
• Demonstrable ability to create cross-disciplinary curriculum or instructional activities
• Clear and effective communication skills for interacting with team members, educators, and partners
• Passion for online learning and empowering educators
