About the role

Responsibilities

  • Supervise, counsel, and manage caseloads for court-assigned juveniles on probation.
  • Maintain chronological records for each juvenile and prepare court summaries and reports.
  • Attend court hearings to present information and assist judges in decision-making.
  • Monitor juvenile compliance with probation rules, court orders, and school attendance.
  • Coordinate with court officials, lawyers, and human service agencies to procure necessary treatment or assistance.
  • Transport clients to various locations and perform duties related to seeking and arresting individuals who violate probation terms.
  • Maintain regular contact with parents and guardians to support juvenile rehabilitation.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in the Behavioral Sciences.
  • Valid Driver's License.
  • Must provide own personal transportation.
  • Ability to pass a drug screening and background checks (PA State Police, Child Abuse, and FBI).
  • Ability to pass a driver's record check.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Previous experience in the human services field.
