Junior Vulnerability Management Analyst

Responsibilities

• Support vulnerability scanning, tracking, and remediation activities across the organization
• Review and triage vulnerability findings under guidance from senior analysts
• Track remediation actions and follow up with system owners to confirm progress
• Assist in validating patches and remediation actions
• Maintain accurate records, documentation, and ticket updates
• Help prepare dashboards and reports for vulnerability status and trends
• Learn and apply vulnerability prioritization concepts such as CVSS, KEV, and EPSS
• Support process improvement initiatives and program documentation

Requirements

• 2–5 years of experience in cybersecurity, IT operations, or vulnerability management
• Solid understanding of vulnerabilities, patching, and security concepts
• Foundational knowledge of operating systems, networking, or cloud platforms
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• Good written and verbal communication skills
• Any Graduate degree

Preferred Qualifications

• Exposure to vulnerability scanning tools such as Tenable, Nessus, or Qualys
• Familiarity with ServiceNow, specifically the Vulnerability Response / VM module
• Entry-level security certifications or coursework (e.g., Security+, CEH fundamentals)
