Junior Transportation Infrastructure Drafter

Responsibilities

• Perform CAD production tasks primarily in an office setting
• Collaborate with the engineering team to develop preliminary and final plans and details
• Participate in quantity take-offs and other related technical tasks
• Utilize AutoCAD, MicroStation, and 3D modeling software such as Civil 3D or OpenRoads
• Produce professional documentation using MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook)
• Ensure work is completed safely, efficiently, and within project deadlines

Requirements

• Minimum of 2 years of drafting experience
• Proficiency in AutoCAD
• General knowledge of engineering principles and materials for roadworks and civil engineering
• Ability to read and interpret construction documents
• Fluency in French is required
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
• Ability to adapt to changes and a strong willingness to learn

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with design-build projects
• Knowledge of Civil 3D, MicroStation, or OpenRoads
• Experience in transportation infrastructure design
• Proficiency in English to facilitate collaboration with external teams and clients
• Experience working with AI agents and tools
