Junior Trader

Responsibilities

• Work side by side with senior traders to learn proprietary methodologies and trading systems
• Manage real-time risk through trade entry and risk layoffs
• Build, maintain, and enhance trading models to identify and pursue new market opportunities
• Liaise between the trading group, internal company departments, and OTC relationships
• Take on additional responsibilities driven by individual interests and specific skill sets

Requirements

• 1-3 years of experience in a trading role
• Degree in Mathematics, Statistics, Economics, Engineering, or a related field
• Full professional proficiency in both Mandarin Chinese and English (reading, writing, and speaking)
• Strong understanding of mathematics, probability, and statistics
• Proficiency with Excel and VBA
• Proficiency with SQL, Python, and statistical modeling
• Strong work ethic with the ability to learn quickly in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment
• Advanced aptitude for problem-solving and multitasking
