Junior Trader

Responsibilities

• Work side by side with senior traders to learn proprietary methodologies and trading systems
• Manage real-time risk through trade entry and risk layoffs
• Build and maintain trading models to support the established trading business
• Enhance existing trades and identify new market opportunities
• Liaise between the trading group, internal departments, and OTC relationships

Requirements

• 2+ years of experience in a trading role
• Degree in Mathematics, Statistics, Economics, Engineering, or a related field
• Ability to work the night shift (11pm-7am) to cover Asian Market Hours
• Strong understanding of math, probability, and statistics
• Proficiency with Excel and VBA
• Proficiency with SQL, Python, and statistical modeling
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment
