Junior Trader

Responsibilities

• National and international trade and marketing of cereals and oilseeds
• Intensive support of assigned customers and suppliers and proactive market development
• Contract management in cooperation with commodity disposition
• Management of a trading book with P&L, including responsibility and hedging on commodity futures markets
• Close coordination and support of regional product managers in the cereal and oilseed sectors
• Proactive participation in trader meetings, international S&D meetings, and creation of own market analyses

Requirements

• Degree in economics, agricultural sciences, or completed commercial training
• High motivation to acquire knowledge of international markets and affinity for food production
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
• Analytical thinking abilities
• Creativity, curiosity, and a dynamic way of working
• Proficiency in data handling and MS Office
• Good German and English skills
• Independent and responsible way of working
