Junior Test Engineer

Responsibilities

• Perform Pulse Current Injection (PCI) testing on Navy ships for Electromagnetic Pulse (EMP) assessments
• Conduct Radio Frequency (RF) and EMP susceptibility testing at Navy test site installations
• Execute Environmental Electromagnetic Effects (E3) computation and RF modeling and simulation
• Develop detailed test plans and participate in test planning meetings and readiness reviews
• Gather, post-process, and analyze resulting test data
• Prepare and publish detailed test reports and contribute to technical meeting support

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering from an accredited college or university
• One year of experience in the theoretical and practical aspects of test and evaluation
• Proficiency with MATLAB and RF modeling/simulation software applications
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office tools (Excel, Word, Project, etc.)
• Ability to obtain and maintain a Secret US Government Clearance (US Citizenship required)

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience focused on RF, microwave, or antenna engineering
• Demonstrated experience in RF Engineering and analysis
• Experience with E3, Electromagnetic Interference (EMI), or Electromagnetic Compatibility (EMC)
• Experience with RF computation and simulation
