Junior Technologist – Electronics

Responsibilities

• Suggest assembly procedures for electronic components of simple complexity
• Write and transfer Routing Slips into work orders, ensuring traceability throughout production
• Maintain production schedules by identifying variances and proposing contingency plans
• Assist assemblers by performing detailed reviews during production milestones and final verification
• Integrate non-conformance rework procedures into work orders and follow up as required
• Support senior technologists with ongoing project activities and production laboratory efficiency
• Ensure all work complies with internal procedures and occupational health and safety regulations

Requirements

• Diploma of college studies in Electronic Technology or equivalent
• 2 to 3 years of relevant experience in electronics
• Knowledge of electronic assembly processes, production techniques, and assembly tools
• Proficiency with Microsoft software and experience with an ERP database
• Fluent in both oral and written French
• Ability to obtain and hold security clearance at the reliability status level
• Ability to pass security assessment for the Controlled Goods Program (CGP)

Preferred Qualifications

• Knowledge of English is considered an asset for contact with customers outside Québec
