Junior Tax Manager

Responsibilities

• Manage ongoing tax processes and workflows in the areas of income and sales tax
• Prepare and review VAT returns, income tax returns, and Intrastat filings for domestic and foreign entities
• Assess tax-related matters in collaboration with other departments
• Communicate with tax authorities and external consultants
• Create internal guidelines and implement new requirements
• Develop measures to ensure tax compliance, including the automation and digitalization of processes

Requirements

• Successfully completed degree in economics or finance, or completed vocational training with several years of professional experience
• Initial relevant professional experience in an international tax, auditing, or tax advisory firm/company is preferred
• Proficiency in using ERP systems and MS Office
• Very good command of both German and English
