Junior System Administrator

Responsibilities

• Monitor and maintain corporate communication systems, including email and messaging
• Troubleshoot hardware, software, and network issues related to Microsoft Exchange Servers in a Windows Active Directory environment
• Manage user accounts, permissions, and password resets
• Install and configure software updates, patch operating systems, and manage system backups
• Monitor system performance metrics such as CPU usage, memory utilization, and network traffic
• Maintain detailed system documentation, including configurations and troubleshooting steps
• Conduct hardware inventory and maintain software renewal and purchase records
• Provide first-level technical assistance to end-users

Requirements

• Active Top Secret/SCI US Government clearance (US Citizenship required)
• Bachelor's Degree and 2+ years of relevant experience
• Experience with Windows Server (NT/2000/2003/2019) and Active Directory Services
• Knowledge of building servers, including Virtual Machines (VM), nodes, and hardware
• Understanding of basic networking fundamentals (IP addressing, DNS, firewalls)
• Proficiency with operating systems such as Windows and Linux
• Relevant IT certifications such as A+, CCNA, or Network+

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with AI applications as applicable to the program
• Microsoft Certification training
