Junior Sustainment Test and Evaluation Engineer

Responsibilities

• Design, plan, coordinate, and execute testing for MILSATCOM and NC3 space systems and ground communications
• Provide technician-level support including integration, circuit troubleshooting, and system-level anomaly resolution
• Identify and isolate software or hardware defects to assess system modifications and interoperability issues
• Author and peer-review technical documentation such as test plans, procedures, configuration diagrams, and technical white papers
• Provide terminal operations support for various systems including FAB-T, MPSS, and GBS

Requirements

• Ability to attain and maintain a SECRET security clearance
• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, mathematics, physics, computer science, or a similar technical discipline
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office products (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to work as a motivated self-starter capable of autonomous learning

Preferred Qualifications

• Possession of an active SECRET clearance
• Knowledge of DoD mission system sustainment
• International Council on Systems Engineering (INCOSE) Certification (e.g., ASEP, CSEP, ESEP)
