Junior Supply Trader

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and execute bunker supply transactions from deal confirmation through to final delivery and reconciliation
• Assist with pre-sale and post-sale activities, including documentation preparation and monitoring delivery schedules
• Liaise with customers, suppliers, barge operators, surveyors, and port authorities to ensure smooth deliveries
• Serve as a primary point of contact for customers, providing operational updates and resolving enquiries
• Monitor vessel schedules and operational developments to proactively address potential supply challenges
• Maintain accurate transactional records, including contracts, delivery documents, and invoices
• Support market intelligence gathering and data analysis to assist business development
• Collaborate with internal Operations, Finance, and Compliance departments to ensure adherence to company policies

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Maritime Studies, Supply Chain, Economics, or a related discipline
• 1–2 years of experience in bunker trading, marine fuels, shipping, or the maritime industry
• Fluency in Mandarin to communicate effectively with Mandarin-speaking partners and customers
• Strong commercial mindset and ability to build positive business relationships
• Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
• Ability to work extended hours when required to support business operations
