Junior Structural Engineer

Responsibilities

• Prepare reinforcement shop drawings and Bar Bending Schedules (BBS)
• Assist in reviewing structural drawings, calculations, and technical specifications
• Assist in preparing technical reports, calculations, and material submittals
• Monitor structural works to ensure compliance with approved drawings and quality standards
• Participate in site inspections and help resolve technical issues
• Ensure compliance with project specifications, UAE regulations, and safety standards
• Support project execution, consultant submissions, and authority approvals

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering with specialization in Structural Engineering
• 1–3 years of relevant experience in structural engineering within UAE contracting companies
• Experience in reinforced concrete and structural steel works
• Familiarity with UAE construction practices and authority regulations
• Proficiency in ETABS, SAFE, STAAD Pro, or SAP2000
• Proficiency in AutoCAD
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with residential, commercial, mixed-use, or villa projects
• Membership in a recognized engineering institution
• UAE driving license
