Junior Structural Engineer – Bridges

Responsibilities

• Support the design and analysis of bridge structures, including both superstructure and substructure
• Prepare basic design calculations, technical drawings, and detailed reports
• Ensure all designs comply with relevant international codes such as IRC, AASHTO, and Eurocodes
• Work on PSC (Pre-Stressed Concrete) girder design and detailing, including load calculations, tendon layout, and stress checks
• Coordinate closely with senior engineers and drafting teams to ensure project accuracy
• Assist with site visits and provide necessary technical support during project execution

Requirements

• BTech or MTech in Civil or Structural Engineering
• 3–7 years of professional experience in structural engineering
• Strong knowledge of IRC, AASHTO, and Eurocodes
• Proven experience in PSC girder design

Preferred Qualifications

• Proficiency in structural analysis tools such as STAAD, MIDAS, or SAP2000
• Ability to join the team immediately
