Junior Strategic Analyst

Responsibilities

• Analyze complex business problems by partnering with stakeholders to define challenges and identify opportunities.
• Deliver executive-ready recommendations by translating data analysis into clear, compelling insights for senior leadership.
• Collaborate cross-functionally to ensure data insights are actionable and build trust across the organization.
• Dive deep into data using advanced SQL queries and Python or R to uncover trends and solve problems.
• Support business growth by developing analytics-backed strategies to improve operational efficiency.
• Build scalable solutions, including self-service BI tools and dashboards, to empower data-informed decision-making.
• Drive projects forward independently, navigating ambiguity and uncertainty with creativity.

Requirements

• Undergraduate or master’s degree in a quantitative/STEM field (graduation date between 2024-2026).
• Experience framing and solving problems through data analysis and quantitative thinking.
• Proficiency in Python and SQL.
• Impactful internship experience.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills for presenting recommendations.
• Ability to work independently and thrive in a fast-paced, ambiguous environment.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience presenting to C-Level executives.
• Previous experience at a startup, particularly in fintech.
• Experience with Business Intelligence tools such as Domo, Power BI, or Tableau.
• Experience with Git and GitHub.
