Junior Static Stress Engineer

Responsibilities

• Perform static structural analysis of aircraft metallic and composite structures using Finite Element Models (FEM)
• Extract loads, stresses, and generate spectra and mission files
• Extract material data, geometry details, and fastener specifications from part and assembly drawings
• Support design teams by assessing structural modifications, non-conformities, and engineering changes
• Create FEMs using geometric data from part and assembly drawings
• Prepare stress certification dossiers

Requirements

• 2 to 5 years of proven experience in static analysis within the aerospace industry
• Degree in Aerospace Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a similar field
• Proficiency in MSC Nastran
• Proficiency in Patran or HyperMesh
• Proficiency in CATIA V5
• Fluency in Spanish and a minimum of B1 English level

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience working with Aerospace OEMs, Tier 1s, or Suppliers on specific stress activities
• Proficiency in Excel
• Knowledge of Python or VBA
• Familiarity with Airbus methods and tools
