Junior Sous Chef

Responsibilities

• Support the Sous Chef and Executive Chef in daily kitchen operations
• Lead and supervise assigned kitchen sections during service
• Ensure food quality, taste, and presentation meet Brass Monkey standards
• Assist in menu development, recipe creation, and costing
• Train and guide Commis and Demi Chef de Partie team members
• Maintain strict hygiene, sanitation, and HACCP compliance
• Monitor stock levels, assist with ordering, and ensure proper storage
• Help manage prep schedules and ensure smooth service flow

Requirements

• 2–4 years of experience as a Senior CDP or Junior Sous Chef
• Strong culinary skills with knowledge of international cuisine
• Ability to lead a team and manage a busy kitchen section
• Excellent communication and organizational abilities
• Experience in high-volume or entertainment-driven venues is an advantage
• Culinary diploma or equivalent certification preferred
• Must be currently in the UAE and ready to join soon
