About the role
Responsibilities
- Design and create chocolate sculptures, sugar art, and artistic amenities for VIP guests and rooms
- Perform ice carvings and Styrofoam modeling for buffet and banquet displays
- Collaborate with Pastry and Culinary teams to design themed decorations and seasonal centerpieces
- Develop creative amenity presentations for weddings, special events, and high-profile functions
- Produce artistic showpieces for culinary competitions and hotel marketing displays
- Maintain cleanliness and organization in the artistic work area while adhering to safety and hygiene standards
- Stay updated on current trends in food artistry, chocolate work, and sugar techniques
- Train and mentor junior team members in artistic decoration and presentation skills
Requirements
- Proven experience in chocolate art, ice carving, and buffet decoration
- Background working within a luxury hotel or resort environment
- Exceptional creativity and a high level of attention to detail
- Excellent time management and the ability to work under pressure to meet event deadlines
- Strong teamwork and communication skills
