Junior Solutions Engineer

Responsibilities

• Enhance local manufacturing and repair capabilities for steam turbine and turbo compressor components.
• Develop and qualify specific repair solutions using Finite Element Analysis (FEA) and create corresponding 3D models and implementation drawings.
• Compile detailed surveys and propose cutting-edge manufacturing and repair procedures for review.
• Collaborate with Product Competency Centres and service centre engineers to provide equipment recommendations and modernization offerings.
• Assist the order management team with technical inquiries related to project planning and costing.
• Analyze turbomachinery process data to improve operational efficiency and maintenance turnaround times.
• Support the development of Digital Inspection Jackets and advanced inspection techniques.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering.
• 1–5 years of experience in rotating equipment, turbomachinery repairs, or manufacturing processes.
• Proficiency in CAD and NX engineering drawing tools.
• Strong understanding of engineering drawing standards.
• Knowledge of manufacturing processes, material limitations, and basic CNC manufacturing processes.
• Understanding of Root Cause Analysis (RCA) principles and the application of FEA in investigations.
