Junior Software Quality Assurance Analyst & Tester

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute software tests to identify problems and root causes
• Test system modifications to prepare for real-world implementation and fleet deployment
• Perform hardware/software integration testing to ensure seamless capability fielding
• Participate in test plan preparation, including creating and refining test cases
• Participate in software design reviews to provide input on functional requirements and project schedules
• Document software defects using formal bug tracking systems and report them to developers
• Perform regression testing to verify defect resolution without impacting existing functionalities
• Prepare detailed test reports and present findings to project managers and stakeholders

Requirements

• Less than 3 years of software testing or related IT experience
• BA/BS degree or an applicable basic certification
• Active Secret security clearance
• Ability to maintain a Top-Secret clearance
• US Citizenship
