Junior Software Engineer

Responsibilities

• Write clean, maintainable code under the guidance of senior engineers
• Participate in code reviews and contribute to team feedback
• Implement well-defined features and bug fixes across software modules
• Write unit tests and participate in quality assurance processes
• Collaborate with peers to translate requirements into working software
• Support field testing and debugging activities
• Document code and processes clearly

Requirements

• Foundational software development skills in C++ or related systems programming languages
• Basic understanding of version control, testing, and debugging
• Familiarity with Linux environments and command-line tools
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or related field
• 0–3 years of professional software development experience
• U.S. Citizenship or Permanent Residency (ITAR requirement)

Preferred Qualifications

• Exposure to Qt, QML, or similar UI frameworks
• Familiarity with Git and branching workflows
• Hands-on experience with UAVs, robotics, or embedded systems
• Experience with CMake or other build systems
• Project experience involving REST APIs or cross-platform development
