Junior Software Engineer

Responsibilities

• Contribute to backend development using Java and Spring Boot
• Support frontend development activities where required
• Assist with software migrations, upgrades, and platform improvements
• Maintain and improve existing functionality by writing clean, maintainable, and well-tested code
• Participate in code reviews and technical discussions
• Collaborate closely with software engineers, architects, analysts, and product owners to support software quality and reliability

Requirements

• Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, IT, Engineering, Mathematics, or Physics
• Knowledge of Java and core software development principles
• Understanding of databases and modern development practices
• Strong motivation to learn and work effectively within a multidisciplinary team
• Analytical mindset with an interest in solving complex operational problems

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous professional experience (0-2 years) in a software development role
• Familiarity with technologies such as REST APIs, PostgreSQL, React, Git, Docker, or Jenkins
