Junior Software Engineer

Responsibilities

• Design and develop high-volume, low-latency applications for mission-critical systems
• Create well-designed, testable, and efficient code
• Participate in all phases of the development lifecycle
• Assist in the preparation and production of software component releases
• Ensure designs comply with specifications
• Investigate new technologies and present them for architectural review

Requirements

• 2+ years of experience in a Java Developer position
• Solid experience in software development and test-driven development
• Significant experience designing applications using Java EE platforms
• Excellent knowledge of Java and JEE internals (Classloading, Memory Management, Transaction management)
• Experience with Object Oriented analysis and design using common design patterns
• Good knowledge of Relational Databases, SQL, and ORM technologies (JPA2, Hibernate)
• Knowledge of web frameworks such as Spring MVC, JSF, Wicket, or GWT
• B.Tech or B.E. degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related area

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with Microservices and Spring Boot
• Proficiency in React or Angular
• Sun Java Developer Certification
