Junior Software Developer

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain backend services and APIs under the guidance of senior engineers
• Collaborate with Product Owners and Solutions Engineers to turn requirements into working solutions
• Write clean, well-tested, and well-documented code
• Participate in code reviews and learn engineering best practices from the team
• Help troubleshoot and resolve production issues alongside support and solutions teams
• Help shape how Yuno's engineering presence grows in the Saudi market

Requirements

• Saudi National
• Recent graduate (or graduating before the start date) in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field
• Fluent in both Arabic and English
• Solid foundation in at least one modern programming language (e.g., Node.js, Go, Python, or Java)
• Understanding of REST APIs, databases, and core programming fundamentals
• Eagerness to learn and grow in a fast-paced, ground-floor startup environment

Preferred Qualifications

• Personal projects, hackathons, or open-source contributions
• Internship experience in software development
• Exposure to cloud environments (AWS, GCP, or Azure) or AI-assisted development tools
• Interest in payments, fintech, or high-volume transactional systems
