Junior Service Desk Technician

Responsibilities

• Provide tier-one technical support via phone, email, and chat for internal IT issues
• Triage, prioritize, and resolve hardware, software, networking, and security tickets
• Provision and image new computers, configure software/licensing, and enroll MFA for new hires
• Monitor Office 365, DLP, vulnerability, and remote management alerts
• Troubleshoot network connectivity, printer issues, and VPN client configurations
• Maintain ticket documentation, SLA goals, and a reference library of common fixes
• Support cybersecurity compliance with NIST 800-171, PCI, PII, and PHI requirements
• Assist with training room setup, equipment coordination, and infrastructure change management

Requirements

• Bachelor's in computer science or engineering, or equivalent technical certifications
• Microsoft operating systems and desktop troubleshooting knowledge
• Experience with Windows desktop management, Active Directory, and Office 365
• Workstation, software, and hardware configuration experience
• Customer-facing service background
• Ability to work night shifts as needed
• Ability to pass a background screening
