Junior SEO Specialist

Responsibilities

• Ship and refresh content at high cadence, including rewriting title tags, headers, intros, and internal links
• Publish new pages targeting prioritized keyword clusters
• Optimize existing pages against competitor patterns to improve organic rankings
• Execute backlink outreach via listicles, guest posts, and resource pages
• Manage and grow the backlink profile using tools like PressWhizz or BuzzStream
• Monitor keyword rankings weekly and log all experiments in the team tracker
• Provide short asynchronous recaps on experiment results and learnings

Requirements

• 1-3 years of hands-on SEO or content execution experience (agency, in-house, or freelance)
• Proficiency with major SEO tools such as Ahrefs or Semrush
• Experience working with CMS platforms like WordPress or Webflow
• Ability to read and interpret Google Search Console data to drive action
• Strong written English skills with the ability to produce or edit long-form content
• Proven experience personally managing content publishing and outreach

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with structured data and schema markup
• Understanding of technical SEO basics
• Experience working in an asynchronous, remote-friendly environment
