Junior Sales Representative

Responsibilities

• Support senior sales representatives and traders with customer outreach, supplier communication, and pricing requests
• Build and maintain professional relationships with customers, suppliers, and brokers
• Assist with sourcing eggs from internal and external supply channels to meet customer demand
• Communicate with customers regarding product needs, pricing updates, order status, and delivery timing
• Identify and pursue new sales opportunities across wholesale, retail, and foodservice channels
• Conduct prospect research, make outbound calls, and develop a pipeline of potential relationships
• Partner with Logistics, Purchasing, and Finance teams to ensure accurate and timely deal execution
• Track customer activity, pricing details, and order movement with high accuracy
• Monitor market trends, supply-demand shifts, and industry pricing

Requirements

• 1 to 3 years of experience in sales support, customer service, logistics coordination, or related fields
• Strong communication skills with the ability to be professional and responsive
• Highly organized and detail-driven with the ability to manage multiple priorities
• Solid Excel skills and comfort working with pricing, reports, and customer data
• Commercial mindset with curiosity regarding pricing, margins, and market trends
• Ability to work on-site in Irvine, CA, with core hours of 7:00 am - 3:30 pm

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in eggs, produce, dairy, protein, or other commodity markets
• Background in food distribution, brokerage, or food manufacturing
• Familiarity with logistics, freight coordination, and purchase orders
