Junior Sales Representative

Responsibilities

• Active involvement in direct and indirect sales of Babylonstoren products (wine and deli products)
• Welcome and serve customers in a professional, knowledgeable, and friendly manner
• Arrange and facilitate wine tastings, private tours, and special customer experiences
• Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with customers, corporate partners, and distributors
• Represent Babylonstoren during functions, festivals, and trade events
• Collect market intelligence and provide feedback to relevant departments
• Collaborate with internal teams (hospitality, garden, wine, and marketing) to deliver integrated customer experiences
• Manage administration, sales reports, and customer databases where applicable
• Travel nationally as required
• Service and grow sales, functions, and marketing initiatives in Bloemfontein and the surrounding Free State area

Requirements

• National Senior Certificate (Grade 12)
• Diploma or degree in Marketing, Sales, Hospitality, Tourism, Brand Management, or Viticulture (preferred)
• Minimum 3–5 years experience in a sales or customer-facing role, preferably in the wine, tourism, or premium brand sector
• Proven experience in customer service and relationship building at a senior level
• Excellent communication skills in Afrikaans and English (verbal and written)
• Computer literacy (MS Office, sales systems, and CRM software)
• Valid driver's license and own transport
