Junior Quantity Surveyor

Responsibilities

• Conduct detailed quantity take-offs from drawings, specifications, and site data
• Prepare Bills of Quantities (BOQs) for tenders, procurement, and project execution
• Monitor project costs and report deviations from budgeted values
• Assist in preparing monthly cost reports, cash flow forecasts, and financial summaries
• Identify variations and assist in preparing variation orders
• Support the preparation of interim payment applications and valuations
• Assist in preparing RFQs and evaluating supplier/subcontractor quotations
• Conduct regular site visits to verify progress, quantities, and material usage
• Maintain organized documentation including drawings and commercial records

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering or related field
• 5–7 years of experience as a Quantity Surveyor in contracting or construction
• Proficiency in quantity take-off software and MS Office
• Strong analytical and numerical skills
• Excellent organizational and record-keeping skills
