About the role
Responsibilities
- Assist in preparing quantities, cost estimates, BOQs, and material take-offs from drawings and specifications
- Support issuing RFQs to suppliers and subcontractors and assist in evaluating quotations
- Help prepare interim payment applications to clients and verify subcontractor payment claims
- Record and monitor variations and changes in scope while maintaining variation registers
- Maintain accurate cost and procurement records and assist in preparing commercial reports
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Quantity Surveying, Civil Engineering, or a related discipline
- 1-4 years of experience in estimation within the interior fit-out industry
- Proficiency in estimation tools such as PlanSwift, CCS Candy, or Excel
- Familiarity with construction drawings and measurement techniques
- High level of accuracy and strong organizational skills
Preferred Qualifications
- Internships or training within the UAE construction industry
