Junior Quantity Surveyor

Responsibilities

• Assist in preparing quantities, cost estimates, and BOQs from drawings and specifications
• Support the drafting and updating of material take-offs and pricing schedules
• Help issue RFQs to suppliers and subcontractors and prepare quotation comparison sheets
• Assist in preparing interim payment applications and verifying subcontractor payment claims
• Record and monitor variations and changes in scope to maintain variation registers
• Maintain accurate cost and procurement records and assist in preparing commercial reports

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Quantity Surveying, Civil Engineering, or a related discipline
• 1-4 years of experience in estimation within the interior fit-out industry
• Proficiency in estimation tools such as PlanSwift, CCS Candy, or Excel
• Strong knowledge of quantity take-offs, cost estimation, and construction drawings
• High level of accuracy, attention to detail, and strong organizational skills
• Experience or training within the UAE construction industry is an advantage
