Junior Quality Controller

Responsibilities

• Assist in quality control of goods, raw materials, and finished products, including weekly sensory checks
• Support the implementation and maintenance of hygiene measures in operations
• Participate in training and support awareness regarding hygiene and waste management
• Assist in monitoring compliance with mandatory occupational health and safety (BOZP) training
• Support monitoring of hygiene standards and cleaning procedures
• Check daily production line records and checklists
• Issue work clothing and personal protective equipment (PPE)
• Monitor and record processes within the HACCP system
• Control weight of sliced fish and vegetables and oversee preparation according to production plans
• Track and record daily waste and unused raw materials

Requirements

• Knowledge of food and hygiene regulations
• Previous experience in a similar position (if holding secondary education)
• Education in Food Hygiene, Food Safety and Quality, or Food Industry
• Ability to work under pressure
• Problem-solving and crisis management skills
• Excellent communication skills
• English language proficiency at B1 level
