About the role
Responsibilities
- Perform detailed physical, dimensional, and visual inspections on mechanical parts to verify compliance with technical drawings.
- Identify and document material defects by creating Non-Conformance Reports (NCRs) and ensuring defective parts are isolated.
- Collect and process measurement data to create Statistical Process Control (SPC) records.
- Contribute to the quality department's growth by assisting in the creation of inspection templates and refining workflows.
- Operate standard measurement equipment such as calipers, micrometers, and gauges while maintaining calibration standards.
- Review and interpret engineering drawings and technical data sheets to determine inspection criteria.
Requirements
- Completed technical degree or comparable qualification in Mechatronics, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.
- 0–2 years of experience in Quality Control or a manufacturing environment.
- Proficiency with standard measurement tools including calipers and micrometers.
- Ability to interpret technical drawings and schematics.
- Experience with QM software or ERP systems (e.g., Babtec, SAP).
- Basic knowledge of ISO 9001 standards.
- Proficiency in English for technical documentation.
- Eligibility to obtain and maintain the appropriate security clearance required for the defense sector.
Preferred Qualifications
- Familiarity with defense or aerospace standards such as NATO AQAP or EN 9100.
- Strong German language skills for internal communication and local technical instructions.
