Junior QA Engineer

Responsibilities

• Execute assigned test cases and test scenarios
• Perform functional, regression, and system testing
• Validate application workflows and business functionalities
• Log and track defects using JIRA or similar tools
• Support UAT and release validation activities
• Prepare test execution reports and maintain test documentation
• Participate in Agile/Scrum meetings

Requirements

• 1–3 years of experience in Software Testing/QA
• Understanding of SDLC, STLC, and the Bug Life Cycle
• Experience with functional and regression testing
• Proficiency in defect tracking tools like JIRA
• Basic SQL knowledge
• Strong communication skills and a willingness to learn

Preferred Qualifications

• Exposure to Banking, Payments, or Financial Services domains
• Knowledge of API testing using Postman
• Basic automation knowledge such as Selenium or Java
• Experience working within Agile project environments
