Responsibilities

• Build and scale microservices using Python and FastAPI
• Implement LangGraph-based agents for travel planning workflows
• Integrate LLM APIs (OpenAI, Claude, etc.) for itinerary generation and smart conversations
• Design tool-calling systems to interact with flight, hotel, and activity APIs
• Develop semantic search features using embedding models and vector databases
• Create orchestration layers for multi-step travel operations
• Collaborate with AI engineers, product managers, and designers to ship features
• Optimize performance and reliability of real-time systems
• Write clean, modular code and own core components

Requirements

• 1-3 years of software engineering experience
• Strong knowledge of Python, FastAPI, and RESTful APIs
• Working knowledge of LLMs, LangGraph, and prompt orchestration
• Experience with semantic search, embeddings, and vector databases
• Comfort with async programming and API integration
• Strong problem-solving skills and product intuition

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience building agents or multi-step workflows with LangChain/LangGraph
• Familiarity with travel APIs (flights, hotels, activities)
• Understanding of Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) systems
• Experience with cloud platforms (AWS/GCP), Docker, and CI/CD pipelines
