About the role
Responsibilities
- Support project management work for the Borough Based Jails Program
- Assist with construction oversight in the office and field
- Maintain project management information systems and project data
- Help establish timeframes, cost schedules, and project activities
- Review schedules, reports, orders, payment requisitions, and change orders
- Track contractor performance and prepare management reports
- Help resolve schedule and budget issues
Requirements
- Baccalaureate degree in an approved field or a master’s degree in architecture
- Permanent in Project Manager Intern title or reachable on Open-Competitive list #5114
- U.S. work authorization
- Ability to work in New York City
- Construction, planning, or project management background
