Junior Process Operator

About the Company

The company focuses on using ground granulated blast-furnace slag and developing low-clinker cement technologies. Ecocem operates globally with facilities in Ireland, the UK, the USA, France, and the Netherlands.

Responsibilities

• Operate and monitor the production process for GGBS, blended, and special products
• Operate a loader (shovel)
• Execute start-up and shutdown procedures
• Set and adjust process parameters for optimal production and quality
• Record hourly production data
• Take and analyze samples for quality control
• Inspect installations during production
• Identify and report deviations in process or quality
• Support maintenance activities and general plant cleanliness

Requirements

• 0 to 2 years of experience in an industrial production environment
• VAPRO B or C certification
• Good command of the Dutch language (oral and written)
• Technical background (mechanical or electrical) is a plus
• Experience with SCADA or PLC-controlled installations is a plus
• English language skills are a plus
