Junior Process Engineer

Responsibilities

• Support manufacturing team in selecting process flows, equipment integration, and technical requirements
• Assist senior engineers during production trial runs, equipment installation, and validation
• Monitor process stability, yield, and key production metrics to support capacity ramp-up
• Maintain process documentation including flowcharts, standards, and work instructions
• Support investigation and resolution of on-site process issues in the cell production line
• Collect data and support structured problem-solving and small process experiments
• Support training activities for production line employees regarding process awareness

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrochemistry, Materials Science, Materials Engineering, Chemical Engineering, or a related field
• 0–2 years of relevant engineering experience (internships or academic projects acceptable)
• Basic understanding of manufacturing processes, data analysis, and problem-solving methodologies
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
• Willingness to work in a factory or manufacturing environment

Preferred Qualifications

• Familiarity with lithium-ion battery principles and cell manufacturing processes
• Exposure to quality systems such as IATF 16949
• Knowledge of tools like Control Plans, PFMEA, SPC, APQP, MSA, or PPAP
• Exposure to Six Sigma, 8D, or structured problem-solving tools
