Junior Power Originator

Responsibilities

• Support the origination and execution of structured power transactions, including BESS tolling, PPAs, and bespoke offtake solutions.
• Assist senior originators in building and maintaining relationships with IPPs, developers, and utilities.
• Prepare term sheets, indicative pricing, internal deal summaries, and product pitches.
• Maintain the origination pipeline within the CRM and prepare regular progress reports.
• Collaborate with trading, risk, legal, operations, and credit teams to support transaction structuring and implementation.
• Monitor market developments and identify new commercial opportunities.

Requirements

• 1-3 years of relevant experience in European power markets (origination, trading, or structuring).
• Strong understanding of wholesale power market fundamentals and structured energy transactions.
• Solid analytical skills and a strong commercial mindset.
• Ability to manage multiple workstreams and maintain momentum in a fast-paced environment.
• Fluent English; additional European languages are a plus.
• Willingness to travel approximately 1-2 days per week.

• Experience in a commercial role within the energy sector.
• Drive to transition into a client-facing role and build an independent deal pipeline.
