Junior Portfolio Manager

Responsibilities

• Create a standout customer experience to increase satisfaction and differentiate Entrix from competitors
• Act as a strategic sparring partner for clients, understanding their priorities and feeding insights back into the company
• Showcase the value Entrix delivers and work jointly with customers to develop towards a shared vision
• Keep customers updated on market changes and strategic opportunities regarding their BESS assets
• Oversee client relationships to ensure professional and synchronized communication
• Serve as the primary point of contact for special requests and strategic questions
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to professionalize and improve the Portfolio Management function

Requirements

• Degree in Business, Economics, or Engineering
• Excellent problem-solving skills with a proactive mindset and strong sense of ownership
• High willingness to learn energy asset performance metrics, grid regulations, and trading frameworks
• Proficiency in Excel; experience with Python or SQL is a plus
• Fluency in both German and English (C1 level or above)
• Ability to travel to client sites and attend industry events/conferences

Preferred Qualifications

• 1-2 years of experience in customer-facing roles (Sales, Project Management, or Key Account Management) within the German energy sector
• Experience working with cross-functional teams, specifically software engineers and data scientists
• Ability to handle difficult conversations and manage urgent client concerns under tight timelines
