Junior Planner

Responsibilities

• Oversee in-stock functions including demand planning, ordering, and capacity management
• Deliver accurate insights and reports to support commercial decisions and revenue/margin plans
• Create sustainable in-stock systems and processes in partnership with analytics and technical teams
• Manage planning for procurement cycles, seasonality, promotions, and replenishment
• Develop bottom-up budgeting plans and reviews in line with departmental strategy
• Own and compile annual retail sales budgets, quarterly plans, and ongoing reforecasting
• Manage end-to-end inventory availability, health, and warehouse space management
• Drive process improvements to reduce costs, defects, and lead times within the supplier base
• Conduct complex business analysis to improve cost structure and profitability
• Support operations in delivering customer experience by monitoring returns and defects

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree or Advanced Diploma (Commerce, Finance, Mathematics, or Economics preferred)
• 1 to 3 years of retail planning experience
• Proven track record in spend management (OTB, Margin management, markdown controls)
• Strong numerical and analytical aptitude
• High proficiency in creating advanced stock management and inventory models
• Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel and SQL
