Junior Physical Trader Molybdenum

Responsibilities

• Support the Molybdenum Trader in managing customer relationships and executing sales
• Develop regional sales plans and optimize finished goods and concentrate sales
• Manage regional customer and supplier accounts to identify new supply opportunities
• Provide market intelligence on molybdenum and ferro alloys markets in Asia
• Identify potential sourcing and origination targets for long-term growth
• Collaborate with Sales Operations, Legal, and Contract Administration for seamless execution

Requirements

• Knowledge of molybdenum and ferro alloys supply/consumption in steel markets
• Experience in marketing or physical trading of molybdenum or ferro alloys
• Ability to manage price risk in equity and third-party transactions
• Strong analytical and communication skills
• Fluency in English (spoken and written)
• Willingness to undertake significant local business travel
