(Junior) People Operations Specialist

Responsibilities

• Manage the entire employee lifecycle, including onboarding, offboarding, contract management, and absence tracking
• Act as the primary point of contact for employees and managers regarding daily HR topics and labor law questions
• Maintain and optimize HR data and processes using Personio to increase operational efficiency
• Develop and improve internal HR policies, reports, and evaluations
• Handle administrative tasks such as certificates and communication with health insurance providers, authorities, and social security institutions
• Collaborate closely with the People and Finance teams, specifically regarding payroll preparation

Requirements

• Degree in HR, Business Administration, Psychology, or a related field
• Practical HR experience (e.g., via internships or working student roles) or a highly motivated entry-level candidate
• Foundational knowledge of German labor and social security law
• Experience with HRIS systems, ideally Personio
• Fluency in German and solid proficiency in English
• A structured way of working, attention to detail, and a people-oriented mindset
• Ability to thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced environment
