Junior Payroll Analyst

Responsibilities

• Support the end-to-end payroll cycle
• Validate payroll inputs and output reports to ensure accuracy
• Assist with maintaining compliance with local, state, and federal tax laws and statutory regulations
• Resolve employee inquiries regarding payroll discrepancies
• Liaise with internal HR, Finance departments, and external payroll vendors
• Prepare, reconcile, and audit payroll records, tax reports, and journals

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Accounting, or a related field
• 1-3 years of experience in payroll or HR administration
• Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel (VLOOKUPs, pivot tables)
• Experience with HRIS/Payroll systems (e.g., UKG Pro, UKG One View)
• Detail-oriented and analytical mindset
• Ability to manage confidential data

Preferred Qualifications

• Global or international payroll experience
• Ability to learn new payroll regulations across different jurisdictions
