Junior Operator

Responsibilities

• Operate assigned plant equipment and areas with moderate supervision to ensure safe and efficient production.
• Monitor process conditions, key performance metrics, and control systems to maintain desired rates and conditions.
• Perform scheduled operational tasks, field checks, and routine maintenance as defined by standard operating procedures.
• Conduct effective shift handoffs and communicate critical information to arriving team members.
• Participate in preliminary investigations for unplanned events and contribute to root cause analysis.
• Utilize plant performance metrics to identify and implement operational improvements.

Requirements

• Completion of Vocational Education or High School Diploma.
• Diploma in Engineering or a Science degree (Chemistry background preferred).
• Ability to work flexible shifts.
• Strong awareness of process safety and risk management.
• Excellent time management skills and a quick-learning mindset.

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous experience as an apprentice or trainee in an industrial setting.
• Candidates currently appearing for final exams are encouraged to apply.
