Junior Operator

Responsibilities

• Operate assigned plant equipment and monitor process conditions to ensure safe, reliable, and efficient production.
• Follow Operating Discipline policies, procedures, and standards to maintain plant area safety and efficiency.
• Perform field checks on process equipment and monitor key performance metrics and control systems.
• Conduct effective shift relief and handoffs to ensure seamless communication between teams.
• Perform scheduled operational tasks, autonomous maintenance, and minor repairs.
• Participate in preliminary investigations and root cause analysis for unplanned events.
• Mentor and train new or existing operations personnel on process operation and troubleshooting.

Requirements

• Associate's Degree in Process Technology or a related field preferred.
• Equivalent years of manufacturing or process operations experience in lieu of a degree.
• Experience in a manufacturing or production environment.
• Production Unit certifications are typically required.
